General terms and conditions of sale
These general terms and conditions of sale govern registration for and payment of the workshops offered by L'Atelier des Métiers d'Art. Any registration implies their unreserved acceptance.

Registration
Registration for a workshop is made online from the relevant workshop page. It only becomes final once full payment has been received. Places are allocated in order of registration, subject to availability.
On registration, your place is held for 30 minutes to allow payment to be completed. If payment has not been made within this time, the place is automatically released.
Prices and payment
Prices are given in Swiss francs (CHF), all taxes included. Payment is made online by bank card at the time of registration, via our secure payment provider Stripe. No card data is stored on our servers.
A registration confirmation is sent by email as soon as payment has been validated.
Cancellation by the participant
Any cancellation must be notified in writing. The following conditions apply:
— More than 30 days before the start of the workshop: full refund, less an administration fee of CHF 100.-
— Less than 30 days before the start of the workshop: no refund
A participant who is unable to attend may be replaced by another person free of charge, provided we are informed in writing beforehand.
Cancellation or postponement by the organiser
L'Atelier des Métiers d'Art reserves the right to cancel or postpone a workshop, in particular if the minimum number of participants is not reached, if the instructor is unavailable or in the event of force majeure.
In such cases, the participant will be informed as soon as possible and may choose between transferring to a later session or a full refund of the amounts paid. No further compensation may be claimed, in particular for travel or accommodation costs.
Conduct of the workshop
The necessary materials and tools are provided for the entire duration of the workshop, unless otherwise stated in the description. Items made during the workshop remain the property of the participant.
The participant undertakes to follow the safety instructions given by the instructor. The organiser reserves the right to exclude, without refund, any participant whose behaviour would compromise safety or the proper running of the workshop.
Insurance and liability
Participants are responsible for having their own personal liability insurance and accident insurance. The organiser accepts no liability for theft, loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for any accident resulting from failure to follow the safety instructions.
Image rights
Photographs may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes. Participants who object may say so at any time, without giving reasons, and their image will not be used.
Data protection
The data provided during registration is used solely for managing the workshop and for statutory accounting obligations. It is neither transferred nor sold to third parties. For details, please see our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be amended at any time. The applicable terms are those in force at the time of registration.
Governing law and place of jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the organiser's registered office in Coppet.
